Painter Ot Hamill

Ot Hamill's painting career is shrouded in a lot of mystery. Even he himself did not provide more information on when, where and how he began to devote himself to painting pictures. Perhaps his admiration for impressionists, cubists, naïve painters, or specifically for van Gogh, Gauguin, Monet, Picasso and others aroused the desire to create something that people would like and at the same time to be more accessible. That is, simply what art lovers could appeal to and like. He does not care about the evaluation of experts or pseudo-experts, the goal is to attract and arouse pleasure, joy, enthusiasm of those people who feel and ride the same wavelength.

So it happened that our painter devoted himself and hopefully will continue to devote himself – so to speak, together with the poet – to all the beauties of the world. He finds it all around him, but above all he is carried away by feminine beauty. In his work we find motives that appeal to each of us – something of the environment in which we live, but above all the feminine beauty embedded in it in all forms and moods. This refers to the country of origin depicting a motive, a life situation that can be as joyful or sad as it may be, light or difficult. We always find something mysterious or, on the contrary, completely open, that attracts our attention. Simply the motifs that like evoke ideas of something future, tempting, beautiful.

The technique of the painter's painting undoubtedly springs from his inner feelings, he finds an aesthetic expression of the moment, mood, experience. The goal is to evoke emotions, desire, relationship – something that is hidden in the continuation of the depicted reality, the event. Although the moment is captured, the viewer perceives the depth of the experience, expecting the next event that necessarily follows. The color scheme of the paintings evokes a number of feelings that evoke curiosity, excitement, hope. The symbolism of the female figure reinforces this. The painter is interested in depicting natural beauty to the very maximum.
